New Live Performance with Lisa May (Videos), featuring Black Sifichi
NEW LIVE/ NEW VISUAL CREATION : After 3 years of composing, the french electronic/ambiant/post rock duo 2kilosandmore is back on stage. This time, they invited Lisa may, an australian videast (working with Von Magnet) and Black Sifichi (spoken word, collaborating with Ezekiel, Rodolphe Burger, Simon Fisher Turner..) to join them on tour.
Really more than just diffusing images on a back screen, Lisa May’s work is projected on a scrim (transparent screen) in front of the stage, on the musicians and at the back. Videos are prepared or improvised in live. The visuals effects surround the band, bringing it in another dimension, and transport the audiance in a different reality.
The last 2kilosandmore’s album had very good press reviews (see below in French & English). Once again produced by Norscq (The Grief, Atlas Project, Von Magnet, Colder…) in his Parisian studio, our duo has invited Flore Magnet and Black Sifichi, two important voices from the independant French scene, to improvise new compositions without any restraint for the occasion. Even if the base of those 9 songs is still electronic, a real impression of diversity comes out of these 62 minutes, an impression that also comes from the use of ‘classical’ instruments like the guitar, bass, drums, sensula and keyboards.
