One could speak about a shelter as both a metaphysical and a material entity that offers a person or any other living creature a protective barrier between the inner environment and the outer stimulus. To explore the intricacies of what defines a shelter, going beyond its physical manifestation, the group exhibition deconstructs the notion into a number of qualities that characterize it. Defying a shelter as a set of qualities serves as a trampoline for its deeper analysis, crucial in times of crisis, whether military, environmental, personal, or any other.
